The purpose of this article is apparently to amplify the idea,
already promoted in the Valentine's Bumble Planes theory and
Dewdney's Operation Pearl,
that the four jetliners commandeered on 9/11/01 landed
while military jets took their places.
Two things that all these theories have in common is that
(1) they are not supported by a shread [sic] of evidence, and
(2) they introduce ideas that most people will (rightly) reject
as patently absurd, such as jetliners landing on secret bases
and the passengers being herded onto other jets to be disposed of
in the ocean or elsewhere.

Unfortunately Hoffman is less than meticulous in his research, one might almost say careless (perhaps intentionally so), and he supplied an incorrect URL, which is why you have arrived here rather than at the page intended (or perhaps not intended).
Hoffman's "critique" of Spencer's article is hardly evidence of an acute mind at work. Most of his "critique" consists of derogatory comments about Spencer, apparently attempting to prejudice the reader and to deter him or her from an examination of the evidence and argumentation that Spencer puts forward. In that case, however, one wonders why he reproduces Spencer's article at all, since a comparison of the intellectual quality of Spencer's work with that of Hoffman's comments leaves the discerning reader in little doubt as to which deserves greater attention.
