Serendipity Website-on-CD

It is possible to obtain a CD-ROM copy of the entire Serendipity website containing all files in this online version added during the 13 years from April 1996 to early May 2009, except for a few web pages which require server-side processing. (This is a CD-ROM, not a DVD.) Included on this CD are many articles concerning 9/11, such as Reply to Popular Mechanics re 9/11 and George Monbiot on 9/11: A Reply, and several articles explaining the background of the New World Order and the danger it presents to anyone who is not a member of the corporate/financial elite, such as A Brief History of the New World Order and Capitalism and Republics: A Patriot's Perspective.

Also there are many articles about Censorship, Zionism, the Iraq War and the other topics listed on the home page, by numerous writers including David Ray Griffin, John Kaminski, Gilad Atzmon, Wade Frazier, James Bacque, Richard K. Moore, Andrew McKillop, F. William Engdahl, Ralph McGehee, Leonard Spencer, Carol Valentine and many others. Almost all links (other than links to external websites, of course) are to files on the CD so the Website-on-CD can be read without being online.

There are actually two editions of this CD-ROM available, one from April 2009 and one from May 2009. Each has over 1100 HTML pages and over 2400 files totalling more than 64 MB. The former includes all files added up to April 10, 2009, and the latter includes all files added up to May 5, 2009. No new web pages were added between April 10 and May 5, and the contents of these two CDs are almost the same. The difference between them is that the April CD includes a search program (see below) for searching all the HTML files on the CD-ROM; the May CD does not. Apart from some re-arrangement of earlier material, only four new articles have been added from May to November.

CD Search Program

For those with a PC running Windows, the April 2009 edition of the Website-on-CD (but not the May edition) includes a search program which enables you to search all web pages on the CD for any given word, or any word in a set of words, or all words in a set of words, or an exact phrase. For further details see the user manual for this search program.

Note to Macintosh users: The search program will run on a Mac only if you have a Windows emulator or a dual-processor Mac which runs Windows XP. The HTML files themselves, however, can be read on a Mac (load the file 'index.html', in the 'serendipity' folder, into your web browser).

The internet is now under attack by those who wish to suppress the free availability of information.

Bills are in congress to criminalize free speech on the Internet via the Cyberbullying Act which will make hurting somebody's feelings a felony. Just like the Patriot Act this will morph in to a criminalization of political free speech and any criticism of the Government.America's Nightmare: The Obama Dystopia

Serendipity will not always be online. And even while it remains, it may not be long before you have to pay extra to your ISP if you wish to visit websites like this (which may not in practice be accessible at any price). In the event that this site disappears from the web, or the internet effectively becomes subject to pervasive censorship, the content of this site will still be available to those who have a version of the Serendipity Website-on-CD.
